The name comes from diffraction — the moment a beam of light bends and fractures into a full spectrum. It's the perfect picture of a great event: one source of energy, split into something every single person in the room can feel.
We started DFRACTD because the South East deserved better than dated templates and wedding-only thinking. Based in Kent, we travel across London and the wider South East — a genuine brand that's confident, modern and warm. Not an underground club night, not a cheesy mobile disco. Just seriously good entertainment for whatever you're celebrating.
We read the room, build the energy and make sure every guest feels the moment. And DFRACTD proudly, explicitly welcomes Pride and LGBTQ+ events — because everyone deserves a dancefloor that's truly theirs.

DFRACTD is run by two people who decided to turn what they love into what they do. We're Kye and Sam — fiancés, partners in everything, and the team behind every DFRACTD event.
We launched DFRACTD (De-fracted) in 2026 to bring our two worlds together: music and meticulous organisation. One source of energy, refracted into a memory your guests never forget.
